Minor quake rattles portions of Sonoma County

CLOVERDALE, Calif. (AP) A minor earthquake rattled portions of
Sonoma County, but there were no immediate reports of serious
damage or injury.
The estimated magnitude-3.5 quake struck at 11:45 p.m. Friday
about 7 miles north of Cloverdale and 21 miles southeast of Ukiah,
according to a preliminary report by the U.S. Geological Survey.
The Cloverdale Police Department received about a dozen calls
from residents, but there were no reports of any injuries, a
dispatcher said. One resident reported broken china, the dispatcher
said.
Cloverdale sits just off Highway 101 near the border of Sonoma
and Mendocino counties.
