Ducks extend contracts of coaching staff

ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) Mighty Ducks coach Mike Babcock and his
assistants each signed one-year contract extensions through the
2004-2005 season.
Assistant coaches Lorne Henning and Paul MacLean and goaltending
consultant Francois Allaire also had their contracts extended, the
team said Friday.
Babcock led the Ducks to their first-ever Stanley Cup finals
appearance last season, his first with the team. They lost in seven
games to the New Jersey Devils.
