Avengers sign three former NFL receivers

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (AP) Former NFL receivers Jahine Arnold,
Sean Morey and Rodney Williams were signed by the Los Angeles
Avengers of the Arena Football League on Thursday.
Arnold played with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1996 and 1998,
leading them in kickoff returns in 1996, and Green Bay Packers in
1999. Morey played with the New England Patriots in 1999 and
Philadelphia Eagles in 2001. Williams played with the Oakland
Raiders in 1998 and 1999.
All three will compete at the wide receiver-defensive back
position for the Avengers, coach Ed Hodgkiss said.
