LAS VEGAS (AP) Marcus Banks and Jermaine Lewis scored 17
points apiece to lead UNLV past Tennessee-Martin 101-78 Tuesday
night.
UNLV (6-1) went 38-of-63 from the field. Banks was 7-for-10 with
eight assists and seven steals, while Lewis had eight rebounds and
was 8-for-9 from the free-throw line.
Sophomore guard Ernest Turner added a career-high 15 points.
Tennessee-Martin's Earl Bullock scored 26 points. The Skyhawks
(6-2) shot 28-for-58, and Okechi Egbe added 21 points.
After trailing 44-32 at halftime, the Skyhawks cut the UNLV lead
to 57-52 with 14:04 left but came no closer.
The Rebels used a 15-4 run to build their largest lead at 96-70
with 2:50 left.
