A's release Fyhrie

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) The Oakland Athletics released
right-handed pitcher Mike Fyhrie on Monday.
Fyhrie spent three separate stints with the A's last season,
going 2-4 with a 4.44 ERA in 16 games, four of them starts. The
33-year old Fyhrie was 7-2 with a 2.33 ERA in 13 starts at Triple-A
Sacramento.
