POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) Idaho State's Dough Baughman threw for
266 yards and two touchdowns as the Bengals rallied to beat
Sacramento State 32-24 Saturday.
Idaho State (2-2, 1-1 Big Sky) trailed 14-0 after less than six
minutes of play thanks to a pair of Sacramento State (1-3, 0-0)
touchdown passes from Ryan Leadingham.
The Bengals switched to an aggressive defense and controlled
Sacramento State the rest of the game.
Baughman capped off a 15-point second quarter, throwing a
touchdown pass to Sale Key with five seconds left to halftime.
Baughman's 24-yard touchdown throw to Jemaine Anderson gave ISU
its first lead at 22:17 in the third quarter.
Late in the game, with ISU leading 29-24, Leadingham fumbled at
the Idaho State 41-yard line on a third-down play. The ball was
picked up and returned 49 yards by the Bengal's Mike Rose.
ISU's Issac Mitchell finished the game with 105 rushing yards.
